Badii Kechiche an Analyst with Pyramid Research, focused on Africa. He is based out of the company’s headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As part of the Regional Research team, Badii is responsible for the analysis and forecast of markets, companies, strategies and trends in the African continent.
While at Pyramid Research, Badii has contributed to the Market Perspectives and Country Intelligence Report series. He has also maintained a focus on researching market entry and growth strategies, as well as regulatory developments and issues in select East and West African markets.
Prior to joining Pyramid Research, Badii served as an intern at the Small Business Development Center in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania where he helped small business owners forecast markets, develop business plans, and raise capital in order to launch and grow their start ups. Badii had also gained valuable experience as a marketing intern for food service giant, Aramark.
Badii is currently pursuing his Masters of Business Administration, at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He is completing completing a comprehensive research project for the department of Finance and Legal Studies exploring the effects of legal environments and public policy on the development of the telecommunications market in African countries. He also holds a dual undergraduate degree in International Business and Finance from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and has studied English literature at the University of Sfax, Tunisia.
In addition to his fluency in English, Badii is a native Arabic and French speaker and has basic knowledge of Spanish and Italian. In his spare time, he loves to travel and watch international soccer games.
