Guillaume Touchard is an Analyst with Pyramid’s Research Consulting team. He is based out of our London office. As a member of the Consulting team, Guillaume is responsible for conducting a wide range of research such as; business strategy analysis of the marketing initiatives of mobile operators, market sizing of convergence products, and regulatory analysis including benchmarking of network element costs. Guillaume also contributes to Pyramid Research’s Country Intelligence Reports and Market Perspectives products. He has written on topics ranging from 3G prospects in Nigeria to market opportunities in Europe and North Africa.
Multiple consulting projects have led him to address different topics across various regions of the world. Recently, Guillaume has completed a study on convergence in Latin America, a project on mobile content in North America, and a report on LLU in Europe. He has also completed countries outlooks and market perspectives on African markets.
Prior to joining Pyramid Research, Guillaume worked as a journalist for the French public broadcasting corporation which led him to report in countries such as Israel and Congo. Guillaume holds an MSc in Communication and Media Regulation and Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has also achieved a BSc in International Relations from the University of Wales Aberystwyth. Apart from his native French, Guillaume speaks fluent English and Spanish. He enjoys playing guitar, surfing, reading and traveling.
