The Enterprise Cloud Readiness Index is based on successive aggregations of scores from Pyramid Research’s proprietary indicators from 49 countries globally. Pyramid Research defines enterprise cloud readiness as the degree to which service providers in a given country can potentially leverage cloud services for the enterprise segment. This in turn is based on economic, demographic and enterprise adoption indicators. Those indicators are:

Fiber-optic (FTTH/B) subscribers
3G/4G subscribers
Broadband subscriber lines
Computers
Smartphones
The exponential growth and penetration of these indicators are all drivers for the adoption of enterprise cloud services. We have analyzed all these variables at the country level and then aggregated data to build regional and global analysis.
The countries included in this report account for 75% of enterprises worldwide. Countries with the highest rankings represent the markets with the best economic, demographic and services penetration levels for the adoption of cloud services. Here are the top ten countries:
