Kerem Arsal is an AME senior analyst responsible for tracking the market trends and competitive dynamics in Turkey, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, as well as several other countries in Africa and the Middle East region. He maintains and assesses the fixed-line, mobile, handset and media models for these markets, while supporting custom research initiatives. He is also actively engaged in contributing regularly to our Insiders and research reports. He is currently based at Pyramid’s headquarters in Cambridge, MA.
Before joining Pyramid, Kerem accumulated specific expertise in the field of technology and innovation management. His research at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) and Boston University was presented in prestigious global conferences such as IAMOT, ICED and ICIS. His experience includes engagement in multiple industry-oriented projects where he focused on knowledge management systems, new market development strategies and the management of information systems in strategic alliances. He was also the technology editor for a best-selling magazine in Turkey before moving to the United States.
Kerem earned his MBA at Clemson University and is currently working toward the finalization of his PhD in Information Systems at Boston University. He also holds a BA in Wirtschaftsinformatik (Management Information Systems) from Marmara University, Istanbul. He is fluent in his native Turkish, in English and in German. Aside from his ad-hoc contributions of music articles in various media outlets, Kerem is a fan of soccer and passionately supports Galatasaray SK.
