Dearbhla is a Senior Analyst with Pyramid’s Regional Research team focusing on the telecommunications market in the Middle East. As part of her daily responsibilities, Dearbhla contributes to Pyramid Perspectives and Outlooks and is in charge of maintaining forecast models for the Middle Eastern countries, specializing on Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt. She is based out of Pyramid’s headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Recently, Dearbhla has contributed to several Pyramid Perspectives, Analyst Insights and Outlooks as well as assisted in custom consulting projects.
Prior to joining Pyramid, Dearbhla worked as a Media Analyst at The Rendon Group, where she analyzed and tracked local responses to issues of interest to clients by reading Saudi newspapers daily. Topics covered ranged from the War on Terrorism, to economics and cultural affairs.
Dearbhla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Harvard, and a Masters of Arts in Arab Studies from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Along with English, Dearbhla is fluent in both French and Arabic.
