Emily Smith is an analyst at Pyramid Research in its Cambridge, MA headquarters, covering North America and Asia-Pacific mobile and fixed markets. Emily is responsible for producing reports and research gathering for forecasting models, in particular handset forecasting models, consulting projects, and published reports.

Prior to joining Pyramid, Emily graduated from Boston University’s Master of Business Administration program with Honors, with a concentration in Finance. Emily worked at Morgan Stanley on the credit derivatives confirmation team, confirming trades of different derivative products with several counterparties. Emily also worked at an international freight forwarding firm in Maryland, where she gained experience in trade and international business. During and after studying at Boston University Emily held a number of teaching assistantships, including several at Harvard University in the Economics department covering Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting courses.
Emily holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Chinese from Williams College. In addition to her native English, Emily is also conversational in Mandarin Chinese.
