Ms. Baez is Vice President of Research for Pyramid Research. She has 10 years of experience advising telecom operators, regulators and leading equipment vendors. She is in charge of developing forecasting models for ICT adoption and has recently co-authored reports analyzing opportunities and strategies around IPTV, mobile video and advertising.
Ms. Baez has led numerous consulting engagements assisting clients to identify growth opportunities, stay informed of industry transitions and analyze strategies for new product initiatives. Some of her recent consulting projects cover topics such as:
• The Impact of Mobile Technologies in Africa, Universal access policies in the Americas
• Consumer preferences with respect to mobile devices
• Web 2.0 initiatives in leading global conglomerates
• Internet-browsing patters and leading consumer applications
Prior to joining Pyramid, Gabriela was a consultant at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and also worked at the Interamerican Development Bank in Washington, DC. Gabriela holds a Masters Degree from Georgetown University with a specialization in international finance.
