Cambridge, Massachusetts, May 21, 2008 — Pyramid Research will host a live webinar titled Network Solutions and Strategies: A Managed Network Services Perspective on the lifecycle of network solutions, best practices and opportunities for the integrated network environment at 11am EDT on Wednesday May 22.
An increasing number of network operators and enterprise organizations are discovering that existing network sourcing models sometimes fail to manage network complexity effectively and frequently fail to create a measureable competitive advantage in the marketplace.
“Forward-looking operators and enterprises recognize that applying a rational blend of internal resources with external, third-party expertise to specific strategic imperatives often creates greater operational efficiencies, driving increased revenue and cost reduction,” says Richard Dean, presenter and Director of Pyramid’s Networks Solutions and Strategies practice.
In this event, Mr. Dean will:
-
Examine the economic drivers for services, particularly managed services.
-
Observe how two global competitors, Ericsson and Nokia Siemens Networks, are developing portfolios of managed services that an increasing number of operators find compelling.
-
Develop a qualitative SWOT analysis of each vendor to guide operators in determining which vendor is better positioned to deliver measurable value.
Interested parties can register here. If you have any questions about the webinar, please contact Amalia Vega at avega@pyr.com.
