The French telecommunications market generated almost $58bn (€39.3bn) in revenue in 2008. The dollar value decline in 2009 of more than 5% is largely because of exchange rate changes, and in euro terms, growth is expected to be moderately positive. The CAGR for 2009-2014 is forecast at 3.2% in dollar terms, with total revenue forecast to reach $63.9bn at the end of the forecast period. IPTV and mobile data are expected to show the strongest growth, with CAGRs of 13.3% and 13.4%, respectively. The largest revenue generator, mobile voice, which contributed 49% of market revenue in 2008, is forecast to show a slight decline, bringing its contribution down to 39% in 2014.
