On January 25, 1999, the shareholders resolved to transform the company into a stock corporation. Since that time, the company has operated under the name ADVA AG Optical Networking.
The company's systems are used by telecommunications service providers, companies, universities, and government agencies worldwide. ADVA sells its product portfolio both directly and through an international network of distribution partners.
