Croatia: Unraveling AdriaCella's Mobile Ambitions
Middle Eastern consortium AdriaCella has been rejected for Croatia's fourth GSM license. AdriaCella is now expected to launch a second bid for the license. CEE Analyst Beatrice Zatorska and CMT Manager Svetlana Issaeva examine AdriaCella's motives for attempting to enter the highly competitive Croatian market, arguing the company could be trying to use entry into Croatia as a springboard to wider expansion in the region.
