Kenya’s Internet Boom
Liberalization and sector reform for Kenya’s ISP industry is resulting in falling tariffs and is helping fuel demand. The Turkish authorities are expected to accept Vodafone’s US$4.55 billion offer for Telsim, Turkey’s second mobile operator. Although this price was on the high side, it looks like a good long-term investment that is well aligned with Vodafone’s global growth strategy.
