Julian Morrison manages Pyramid’s European telecoms Research practice, with overall responsibility for forecasting models, analytical reports, and consulting engagements across Western and Central Eastern Europe. Julian has more than 10 years experience in delivering insight and implementing research-backed commercial solutions across multinational organisations in the telecommunications, online leisure and financial services sectors in locations as varied as Costa Rica, India, Italy, the Netherlands Antilles, Germany and the Isle of Man. He is based in Pyramid’s London office.
Prior to joining Pyramid, Julian spent over five years at the FTSE 100 Private Equity firm 3i Group. While at the firm he held both research and operational roles and managed not only the firm’s global direct Origination and new business initiatives, but also supported executive management to drive strategy planning for the group as a whole. Before joining the 3i Group, he spent time as an analyst at VarTec Telecom (now part of the Carphone Warehouse group) and he started his career at AT&T (UK).
Julian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in German and Italian from University College London and has subsequently gained a qualification in Strategic Management in addition to his progress towards the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Julian speaks Italian and German, with conversational Spanish and French, in addition to his native English.
