Daniel Amparan
Vice President 

Daniel Amparan is responsible for Pyramid’s Business Development efforts globally. As a global head of Business Development, Daniel is directly responsible for leveraging Pyramid’s expertise to advise global organizations in the Communications, Media and Technology industries on market entry, growth strategies, best practices and operational efficiencies.

Prior to joining Pyramid, Daniel played a leading role in the international expansion of Telmex where he worked in its International and Corporate Development Divisions. His responsibilities included analyzing strategic organic and acquisition-related growth opportunities for Telmex globally as well as to coordinating the integration and operations of its international acquisitions. Before joining the Telmex Group, Daniel had years of management consulting and global investment banking experience, having worked for McKinsey and Co. in Mexico City and Dresdner Bank in Frankfurt, Germany.

Daniel holds a Master of Science in Operational Research and Information Systems from the London School of Economics (LSE). He also received advanced executive education in INSEAD and holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Physics Engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM) in Mexico. In addition to his native Spanish he is fluent in English and German.
